The Remote Digital Assessment Working Group dedicated itself to pooling knowledge development around the topic of remote and/or digital assessment, and looked ahead to the future by developing a vision on this theme.
The working group started during the Covid-19 pandemic. On The pandemic showed how resilient higher education can be in terms of online education, but also the challenges of place- and time-independent assessment. The pandemic put the need for place-independent assessment under a magnifying glass. It also outlined the contours of the post-crisis period. It was not only during the Covid-19 crisis that digital assessment-taking increased, there was also an increase on returning to campus. Therefore, the working group worked on a vision for remote testing, in order to prepare for the future.
The working group worked with various stakeholders on products that contribute to better assessment and a vision for assessment (remotely).
